Just tried this recipe from ‘Vegetarian Times’, really tasty and will take you less than 10 mins to make! (The actual recipe instructs you to serve cold and marinate overnight but I just cooked the asparagus with the sauce drizzled on top).
Cook 3 lbs of Asparagus (I steamed some skinny asparagus for 4 mins)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 rice vinegar
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp fresh ginger
1 tbsp agave nectar
Pinch of cayenne pepper (if at all)
1 Thai bird chile, seeded and thinly sliced for garnish (optional- I didn’t use it)
Pour over asparagus and serve with sesame seeds.
