My friend Jami (aka The Kale Queen) and I had the following conversation recently:
Me: “I’ve made steamed kale and it’s pretty good but I don’t know how else to make it.”
KQ: “Oh you have to try this kale salad I make- it’s AMAZING.”
Me: “I don’t know, I don’t really like it raw. It’s too bitter.”
KQ: “You knead this one with avocados. IT NEEDS TO BE KNEADED!*”
And you know what? She made it, and it was pretty damn great. Jami’s salad can be found on the Whole Foods Market website HERE. I also made it and replaced the sesame seeds with hemp hearts and it was STILL pretty fantastic:
