Turkish Red Lentil Soup

It continues to rain in Vancouver and so I’ve been craving soups and a cabana boy. One out of two coming true ain’t bad.

I found this recipe a while ago for Turkish Red Lentil soup and finally got around to making it the other day. It was really easy and the lemon gave it a fresh taste. I served with it with vegan sour cream, Naam bread and red wine.  I’ll definitely be making it again!

  1. That soup looks divine! And I’d take the wine over a cabana boy any day 🙂

Good call! If it’s red then I’d agree with you 100%!

  2. LOL at the cabana boy comment! I definitely could use this soup right now as it is rainy and dreary outside, which always makes me crave soup.

Agreed and Vancouver is just getting started when it comes to rainy weather!
