Focaccia Bread with Carmelized Onions

I’ve been a little lazy with my mission to become a bread master. I found one recipe that works perfectly and haven’t bothered to try anything else. If there is a Zombie Apocalypse, I’m not going to have many bread options.

It was time I continued my quest and I’ve been wanting to try Tal Ronnen’s recipe for Focaccia Bread with Carmelized Onions ever since I got his cookbook, The Conscious Cook.

I had been putting off this recipe because it seemed complicated but it actually was really simple (although time consuming). But trust me, this is worth making for the smell alone!

When we start showing this apartment to sell I’m going to make this in the morning so it smells like heaven when people walk in.

Make sure to bake right before you eat!

That looks amaze-balls! You going to do any Canuck themed recipes for the playoffs?

Thanks! You know I hadn’t thought about it… I’m still trying to do vegan cheese so maybe some blue cheese with…..relish? Ya, I’ll have to get it some more thought.
