How to Peel a Mango like a Boss

After my post on mango pizza, I had a few people ask me how to use a cup to get the mango deliciousness from the skin.

Rich is at the cabin this weekend so I couldn’t take a video but I was able to take some awkward photos with one hand while demonstrating this life-changing trick with the other!

Haha I know right!?! This changed my life!

  2. Ha ha! I love this blog post title. And WOW, what a great way to peel mango!! I usually hate peeling mango so I don’t buy as many because of that reason but now I foresee a lot of mangos in my future.

I know! No more getting mango all over your face as you eat all the little squares from the skin.

Great, thanks! I’ll try this technique next time we have mangoes.
You can also eat it with out a knife. Hold the mangoe with the smallest part up (like an inverted heart), bite the tip and peel the skin like the foil of a burrito.
    Have a good week, Lindsay!

Lindsay, what did you do with the seed? I always have an issue with getting the fruit away from the seed without squishing the fruit and I’m not even using one had to take pictures!

    1. Haha I stand it up vertically and slice the two ends off, the end usually doesn’t squish and it’s such a tiny area even if it does. Hope that helps!
