Jam Jar Restaurant

I’d been wanting to go to Jam Jar for a while now, if you live in Vancouver it’s very likely you’ve been to Nuba which is pretty famous for its Lebanese cuisine and tons of vegan friendly options. I was told Jam Jar was going to be a lot like Nuba.

Jam Jar is on Commercial Drive (a Vancouver Vegan’s homeland) and features ‘Lebanese Folk Cuisine’. I don’t know what that is but sign me up.

I was with a group of 7 and we ordered everything vegan on the menu (which is alot) and it covered our entire table.

This is not a place you want to go to with less than 4 people because you’re going to want to try everything. But you NEED to order the Deep-Fried Cauliflower and the Tomato Artichoke Salad. These dishes will give you life.

I didn’t order anything to drink (don’t worry, I’m ok) and I tasted about 10 dishes and paid $20.00 for the meal. TWENTY F**KING DOLLARS.

Also the staff are really friendly and good looking.

What are you waiting for? You need to go to there. (Be prepared to wait for a table- no resos).
