This is my year and I’m totally feeling it. Can you tell? I’ve pretty much shouted it at you for the past 3 or 4 blog posts. Also- still no wine and I’m feeling pretty f**king fantastic even though it seems to continue to baffle and confuse people to the point of rage. I get it, you know those crazy sports fans who paint their faces and name their kids “Dallas Cowboys”? I’m equally passionate about wine. Linden could have easily been ‘Merlot’.
But right now I’m feeling passionate about something else and I’ve decided to give myself another goal. I challenge you to do the same. Brace yourself because this is going to get a bit preachy.
I just watched this amazing documentary online about 3 fashion bloggers who are sent to Cambodia to live and work with people who make $3 a day making clothes for the world’s biggest fashion chains. It’s a quick watch with 5 episodes around 10 mins each. I’ve decided that I’m going to find a cause and make it my own. I often give a bit here or there to different worthy causes but I’ve decided to look at one cause or organization and make my occasional gifts add up and make a bigger difference.
I challenge you to do the same! If you could give $10 every month, what would you support? I found these badass ladies to sponsor who protect endangered rhinos in Kenya. Umm, that’s pretty f**king cool. They are South Africa’s first female-only anti-poaching unit. They’re practically Batman but in the jungle. I’m unapologetically fangirling at my computer right now.
So my challenge to you is to invest in your karma and find something to stand behind this year.

I’ll be releasing more details closer to the dates like the exact menus but I can tell you I’ve got some really unique venues and I’m pushing myself creatively with the menus.
