Savory Roasted Garlic Custard with Jalapeno Drizzle and Thyme

I realized that my next supper club is less than two weeks away and I only have one dish decided on. I had a few moments of panic where I needed to crouch down and put my head between my legs before I started to look into food from Shakespeare’s works (all the dishes at the supper club are inspired by famous authors or their works).

It turns out that quite a few of my selected novels/plays feature very traditional British food so I painted myself in a corner a bit in terms of offering variety. But what is more British than custard? Maybe the queen eating Bangers and Mash?

But no matter! Because this was so freakin’ tasty. I love garlic so much, especially roasted and this made my taste buds sing. Shakespeare would have called for an encore.
