You’d think with Rich’s English ancestry we’d eat a lot more British food, like bangers and mash. I think I’ve made him custard maybe 3 times in 10 years. Maybe it’s because I’ve  met two English people in my life who have said (without provoking) ‘YOU’RE WELCOME FOR THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!’ Ummmm…thanks and is that something you guys talk about often over there? Like your country loses an Olympic medal but hey we created the English language?

But as I was looking to Shakespeare, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings for food inspiration, I discovered that it was full of pretty much entirely British food. So if it’s good enough for HP then I think I needed to give it another chance. And Holy Queen Elizabeth this was decadent and tasty.
