Roasted Cauliflower and Quinoa Salad

I watched an amazing documentary on Netflix last night and I think it should be required viewing for everyone. Even if you disagree on some of the points made, it’s worth discussing.  Put Pink Ribbons Inc. on your list to watch!

The reason I bring it up is because it makes an important point about prevention versus finding a cure and the link between what we’re putting in our body and the rising cases of cancer. One of the reasons I’m vegan is because I tend to cook much more from scratch, understand the ingredients, and hopefully cut out unknown additives that haven’t been thoroughly tested. It did make me worried about my make-up though. I need my lipstick people! Every time I get mascara in my eye, I’m convinced I’m going to go blind.

Any advice on brands with sustainable packaging and natural ingredients?

Ok, speaking of easy and simple ingredients (and perfect segways) I am obsessed with roasted cauliflower because it’s totally amazing but super simple. To avoid getting myself into a rut I decided to put it in a salad. It should serve like 4 but I ate the whole thing.
